Skills required for Embedded Design Engineer:

To be successful in this role, it is essential to have strong expertise in both hardware and software development. You will need:

  • Embedded Hardware: Lead the design and development of PCB hardware, including layout and integration with power electronics and machine systems.
  • Embedded Software: Develop and maintain embedded firmware for controlling systems, ensuring functionality and reliability across products.
  • Proficiency in Altium for PCB design and ARM Cortex M4 for embedded processors.
  • Strong understanding of power electronics, serial communications (Ethernet, USB, RS232, SPI, I2C), and EMC standards.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as Python and SQL for processing and visualization.
