Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Housing Association to recruit a Rents and Service Charge Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic finance team and play a key role in managing rent and service charge accounting.

Duties include:

  • Calculating and reviewing rent and service charges, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Preparing budgets, forecasts, and reconciliations for service charges
  • Supporting the financial reporting process and ensuring timely invoicing and payments
  • Working closely with internal teams and tenants to resolve queries and disputes
  • Ensuring compliance with housing regulations and financial standards

 The Person:

  • Experience in rent and service charge accounting within a housing association
  • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of relevant housing regulations and service charge legislation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
