Due to continued business growth, our Client is seeking a professional Asbestos Consultant in the South East region, ideally with good access to the M25 for easier travel. They are a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy, with a strong ethos to provide a high level of service to their busy Client base and thorough approach to compliance. Applicants must have excellent Client-facing skills and a strong background of working within the industry. They are offering excellent salaries and packages.
Locations of work include: Stevenage, Luton, Hitchin, St Albans, Enfield, Harlow, Bishop's Stortford, Harrow, Watford, Wembley, Southall, Slough, Harrow, Ilford, Kingston upon Thames, Epsom, Croydon, Aylesbury, Leighton Buzzard, Dunstable, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Bicester, Brackley, Oxford, Didcot, Bedford, Sandy, Towcester.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Must have a strong record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Consultant, ideally for a UKAS accredited firm
- Will hold the BOHS P402, or RSPH equivalent
- Excellent written and IT aptitude
- Professional manner and strong communication skills
- Well-versed in industry guidelines, including HSG 264 and UKAS
- Great attention for detail and thorough approach
The Role:
- Travelling across Domestic, Commercial and Industrial client sites
- Conducting Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos Surveys as well as Re-inspections
- Producing thorough survey reports
- Providing a consultancy service to Clients, advising on findings and progress of projects
- Collecting and bagging asbestos samples from site
- Representing the company in a professional manner and ensuring to provide a high level of service
- Making sure to work in accordance with UKAS and HSG guidelines
