Butler Rose is partnering with a leading large manufacturing client to offer an exciting opportunity for a Principal Business Solutions & Improvement Officer to join the team. Salary: Circa £50,000 depending on experience Location: Stevenage (Relocation package may be available) Dynamic (hybrid) working: 2-3 days per week on-site due to workload classification Security Clearance: Must be a British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. Restrictions relating to nationality and rights to work may apply. All successful candidates will undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS) as a minimum requirement. Our client is looking for an experienced improvement practitioner to lead functional improvements in processes, tools, and methodologies within a dynamic Procurement and Supply Chain team. This role is key to enhancing operational efficiency and delivering strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and manage functional improvement initiatives across Procurement and Supply Chain. * Develop and implement new policies, processes, and tools, providing training and support to teams. * Collaborate cross-functionally to drive best practices and challenge existing processes. * Manage projects focused on supply chain resilience, data analysis, and tracking/reporting. * Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of system improvements using KPIs and data. * Support knowledge management improvements and deliver relevant training. * Ensure governance and control measures are in place for all improvement initiatives. What the client is looking for: * Broad experience in Procurement & Supply Chain roles. * Strong analytical and project management skills. * Ability to collaborate in a complex matrix organisation. * Proven track record of delivering improvements in a Procurement & Supply Chain environment. * Knowledge of SAP and Ivalua is a plus.
