We're looking for a detail-oriented Commercial Business Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting transformational projects for a local authority.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, analyse, and present data from various systems, including financial reports, to support commercial strategies
- Confidently challenge performance across the organisation, including senior management, and develop innovative solutions to drive improvements.
- Work closely with project managers and senior stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of commercial objectives.
What You'll Bring:
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong background in commercial/business analysis with the ability to extract and analyse key data.
- Proven experience working in a commercial environment and translating complex data into actionable insights.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, with experience using other Microsoft Office products like Word and PowerPoint.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience working with financial systems like Unit4 Agresso or similar.
- Degree-level education and experience in a complex organisational setting.
