Description
- Lead and manage the Facilities team, providing direction, support, and development opportunities.
- Oversee the maintenance and operation of all campus facilities, including buildings, grounds, and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement facilities management strategies, ensuring they align with the institution's objectives and research needs.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure the effective use of space, equipment, and resources.
- Manage budgets, procurement, and contracts related to facilities management services.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Address any day-to-day facilities issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure facilities support the institution's long-term strategic goals.
Profile
- Proven experience in facilities management, ideally within a research or academic setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, environmental sustainability, and building maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage budgets and vendor relationships effectively.
