On offer is the opportunity to be a part of a business that has a wealth of knowledge in precision engineering, mould tool manufacture and injection moulding. You will be in an environment of moulding machines that are all processor-controlled and range in clamp size from 25 to 110 tonnes, with the ability to mould components weighing just fractions of a gram up to 230 grams.
Your primary responsibilities will be the manufacture and modification of Injection mould tools in a modern well-equipped toolroom.
This role would suit an existing Toolmaker looking to join a company that cares in a stable and varied Monday to Friday role.
The responsibilities:
- Use of manual milling machines, lathes, cylindrical grinders, manual and CNC spark eroders
- Modification & repair of Injection mould tools
- Manufacture and fitting of new Injection mould tools
- Using hand tools such as files, hacksaws and grinders
The person:
- Experience in general toolmaking, milling, grinding and fitting
