Ecologist

Hertfordshire £25,000-£33,000

I am pleased to announce that we are looking for an Ecologist to join a fantastic team in Hertfordshire! This multi-disciplinary team are are a warm and welcoming group, who work with a range of specialists, across a range of environmental sectors which include landscape design, ecology, arboriculture, and biodiversity.

Responsibilities of an Ecologist include;

  • Providing sound ecological advice to a range of project managers.
  • Writing reports and being involved in protected species surveys.
  • Carrying out Phase 1 habitat surveys.

Requirements for this role include;

  • A relevant degree and a great understanding of current environmental legislation.
  • Experience of working within an environmental consultancy.
  • Ecological report writing skills.
  • Membership (or eligibility) for CIEEM.
  • Valid UK Driving licence.
