Electronics Engineer

*** Due to the nature of the role & the industry you will be working in, you will be required to achieve UK SC clearance ***

We are looking for an Electronic Engineer to join us and be involved with some exciting projects within Defence.

You will be involved with RF testing, as well component level assembly and rework and have an understanding of the full product life cycle.

Experience we are looking for -

  • Ideally, degree qualified (or equivalent industry experience) with experience in electronic design, development and delivery; preferably in defence or related industry.
  • Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team with the awareness and understanding of the challenges that this may bring.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of electronic technologies and products
  • Familiar with RF circuits and components across a wide range of frequencies
  • Practical skills - soldering, fault finding and RF component level assembly
  • Use of RF Laboratory Test Equipment - Spectrum Analysers, VNA's, Power meters
  • Ability to use CAD software such as KiCAD or ORCAD
  • Good communication skills with the ability to produce high quality written reports and presentations to internal and external customers
