Job Advertisement: Employee Relations Partner

Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for employee relations? Our client, a dynamic public sector organisation, is seeking a proactive and dedicated Employee Relations Partner to join their team on a temporary basis. This is your chance to make a real impact by delivering strategic HR advice and support to managers across the business.

Position: Employee Relations Partner Contract Type: Temporary Working Pattern: Full Time, hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

As an Employee Relations Partner, you will:

  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance on a range of employee relations casework, including short and long term sickness and disciplinary issues.
  • Collaborate with line managers to ensure a commercially focused and risk-aware approach to case management.
  • Support the HR Manager (Organisational Development) in developing HR policies that meet business and statutory requirements.
  • Build strong relationships within the HR team and with external networks to enhance professional knowledge and service delivery.
  • Champion change management initiatives, including restructuring, redundancy programmes, and TUPE transfers.
  • Project manage job evaluation processes, ensuring timely outcomes for managers.
  • Deliver responsive services that meet customer needs, utilising feedback to continually improve processes.
  • Drive digital transformation within HR, exploring innovative solutions to enhance service delivery.

About You: The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A wealth of experience in employee relations and HR advisory roles, particularly within the public sector.
  • Strong knowledge of disciplinary processes, grievance handling, performance management, and employment law.
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills, enabling you to support and guide managers effectively.
  • A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
  • A commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
