Butler Rose are delighted to be working with this SME group business based in Stevenage who are seeking a Finance Manager to join them.
This promises to be a hugely fulfilling role, and a real opportunity to make the finance function your own as the sole finance person for the group business.
Requiring you to take ownership of everything from transactional accounting to monthly management accounting, this role would really suit someone who is very hands on and keen to be involved with all elements of finance - someone who is keen to see the impact their work has on the wider business.
Experience required:
- Transcational accounting, sales & purchase ledger
- Monthly management accounting
- Reconciliations
- Intercompany accounting
- Xero accounting system (desirable)
Who are we looking for:
- You will be flexible in your approach, and confident working in an organised and methodical manner directly for senior leadership.
- Ideally, you will have full management accounts experience, but consideration will be given also to those who have experience to Assistant Accountant level
- You will be personable and down to earth, someone who is happy to work in a 'hands on' capacity in a changeable environment.
Please note, to be considered for this role it is essential that you are available on no more than 1 month's notice and have prior experience within an SME environment covering all levels of finance, and are comfortable working in a standalone capacity.
