Job Purpose:

My client is seeking a highly motivated Amazon Manager to oversee and drive the growth of their Amazon marketplace operations Worldwide. This is a strategic yet hands-on role, requiring a strong focus on merchandising and operations. As a key member of this team, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Marketplace and internal departments to optimise their Amazon presence, increase revenue, and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategies aimed at achieving a year-on-year increase in revenue across Amazon, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Drive pricing, promotional, and product strategy execution to maximise profitability while adhering to margin targets.
  • Oversee day-to-day Amazon operations, focusing on order fulfilment, inventory management, and process efficiency.
  • Regularly audit internal processes to maintain compliance with Amazon’s policies and identify areas for operational improvement.
  • Collaborate with Merchandising, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on priorities and high-quality delivery.
  • Act as the main point of contact for all Amazon-related initiatives, coordinating across internal teams and external partners to align on objectives.
  • Work closely with external suppliers, distributors, and fulfilment partners to optimise Amazon marketplace processes.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, trends, and profitability, recommending actionable adjustments.
  • Use Amazon Brand Analytics, search query data, and performance metrics to enhance product discoverability and customer engagement.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience managing Amazon Vendor or Seller accounts, with a proven record of driving growth and operational optimisation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong proficiency with Amazon Brand Analytics, search query tools, and performance metrics.
  • Solid knowledge of Amazon’s marketplace policies, particularly within European regions.
  • Must have a strong ability to convert business objectives into actionable strategies, driving sustainable growth.
  • Advanced analytical skills, using data to influence decision-making and optimise operations.
  • Exceptional at coordinating cross-functional teams and liaising with both internal and external stakeholders.
