HSE&T Advisor

We are seeking an experienced HSE&T Advisor to join our team and play a key role in driving Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Training excellence. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to operational success and enhance our safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote HSE&T procedures and ensure compliance with company and legal standards.
  • Conduct inspections, audits, and engagement to monitor performance and report findings to senior management.
  • Support improvement initiatives and campaigns to enhance HSE&T performance and communication.
  • Assist with event investigations, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures.
  • Provide accurate guidance, innovative solutions, and support to operational teams.
  • Contribute to the development of safe systems of work and related documentation.
  • Support training needs analysis and facilitate training arrangements in line with business requirements.
  • Build positive relationships with clients, supply chain partners, auditors, and regulators.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
  • NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership with IOSH or IIRSM (Technician level or higher).
  • CSCS Card (AQP/PQP/Black).
  • At least 5 years' experience in infrastructure, highways, or residential/commercial build sectors.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • IT proficiency, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Must be local to Stevenage or willing to commute daily.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
  • Graduate/Chartered IOSH membership.
  • IEMA qualification or Appointed Person certification.
  • Experience across the supply chain from client to subcontractor.
