Workshop Supervisor /Production Supervisor (Steel Fabrication)

Our client is looking for aWorkshop Supervisor /Production Supervisorto join their team on a permanent basis. Please note, the main base for this position will be Luton.

They are Specialists in their field (architectural /structural steelworks), with work in a range of construction fields from large scale new builds through to smaller renovations, refurbishments and interior fit outs.

Must have knowledge in all aspects of Steel Fabrication

Rate of Pay Up to £54,000 (Depending on experience)

All candidates must:

  • Managing, motivating and monitoring the performance of all workshop staff and supporting all staff in daily tasks and development.
  • Ensuring availability of all materials required to meet production targets by forward planning and ordering.
  • Ensuring production targets and deadlines are met by maximising use of available resources and scheduling working hours to achieve these targets.
  • Some overtime may be required during periods of high production.
  • Dealing with other TPM staff and Site Supervisors and maintaining excellent working relationships. The ability to work as part of a team is essential.
  • Ensuring adherence to all workshop health and safety regulations.
  • Booking and arranging dispatch of product to customer sites as required.
  • Attending meetings with senior management as required.
  • Ensuring the workplace is kept clean, tidy and safe.
  • Accurate and timely completion of all associated paperwork and documentation.
