Head of HR - Retail

Location: North Hertfordshire (Hybrid Working)

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 Full-Time (35 hours per week)

Resourcing4HR are sourcing a Head of HR to join a well respected organisation and lead the HR function. Reporting to the CEO, this role sits on the Senior Leadership Team and plays a key part in delivering the people strategy, ensuring HR initiatives align with business objectives and culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the HR team, ensuring effective delivery of HR services.

• Shape and implement HR strategy, policies, and procedures.

• Provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HR best practices.

• Oversee recruitment, retention, learning & development, compensation & benefits, and employee engagement.

• Champion diversity, inclusion, and employee wellbeing initiatives.

• Drive change management and workforce planning.

• Manage the HR budget and ensure legal compliance in all HR processes.

• Work closely with senior leaders to enhance organisational culture and leadership capability.

About you

• Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role.

• Strong strategic and operational HR expertise.

• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.

• Experience in change management and organisational development.

• CIPD qualified with solid employment law knowledge.
