About the Role: Are you passionate about technology and customer service? My client, a leading tech company based in Stevenage, is seeking a Junior Service Desk Analyst to join their dynamic team. As the initial point of contact for clients, you will play a crucial role in providing first-class technical support and ensuring smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional technical and customer service to users of our software.
  • Answer support phone lines and troubleshoot issues.
  • Escalate tickets to appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Monitor and manage the unassigned queue.
  • Maintain clear and detailed notes on tickets for smooth handovers.
  • Respond to tickets professionally, adhering to Service Level Agreements.
  • Create and modify documentation for internal and external use.
  • Collect data for reporting purposes.
  • Log support requests, research, and solve problems.

I am looking for a candidate who is able to:

  • Ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Strong teamwork and independent working skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and enthusiasm for learning.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and operating systems.
  • An interest in IT/technology.

Educational Requirements:

  • GCSE/A-Levels/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar technical fields.
  • Technical subjects preferred at A-Levels/BTEC.
