Excellent opportunity to join a large in-house pension scheme, you will be responsible for supporting the Administration team in delivering technical administration cases and calculations across a defined Benefit Scheme.

About the role

  • Completing calculations and managing correspondence for members ensuring that they are completed within SLA.
  • Completing calculations and managing correspondence for high earners including legislative controls for protection.
  • Completing QA checks on colleague communications from a pension technical and legislative perspective.
  • Updating and reconciling of worklists to ensure compliance.
  • Reviewing transfer cases ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Responding to email correspondence and management of team email inboxes.
  • Assisting auditors with any queries they may have during the annual audit.
  • Completing and reviewing complex member calculations ensuring all calculation SLA's are maintained.
  • Reviewing complaint/Historic pension transfer cases
  • Authorisation of daily payments.
  • Supporting all processes to maintain compliance and minimise escalations and complaints.
  • Providing support and testing for cyclic projects and key projects.
  • Support team in PMI exams
  • Taking the initiative to improve processes and drive efficiency.

  • Up to date knowledge of UK Pensions legislation
