ROLE - Quality ManagerLOCATION – HertfordshireTERM – PermanentSALARY - £45,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experienceI’m working with an established manufacturer who are based in Hertfordshire area, they currently have an urgent requirement for a Quality Manager who has an engineering background in electronics or medical manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by championing innovative solutions, challenging the status quo, and embedding best practices at all levels of the business.
  • Supervise the comprehensive quality assurance process, including inspections, audits, and oversight of quality control testing for products and processes.
  • Establish clear and quantifiable quality objectives that are in line with overall business goals and customer expectations.
  • Perform regular audits and inspections to detect potential quality issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure quality standards are integrated throughout product development and manufacturing.
  • Track and analyse quality performance metrics, producing reports and recommendations for ongoing improvement.
  • Handle customer feedback and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and the implementation of preventive actions.
Skills
  • Demonstrated experience as a Quality Manager in a highly regulated manufacturing environment
  • Significant experience managing quality systems in electronics manufacturing.
  • Expertise in ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and related standards, with a proven track record of maintaining and achieving certifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively support thorough Root Cause Analysis audits.
