Project Control Assistant

Location: Stevenage
Hourly Rate: £20ph (negotiable)
Start Date: April 2025
Contract: Temporary (9-12 months) with potential for a permanent role

About the Role:

We are looking for a Project Control Assistant to coordinate project control activities across multiple functions, including programme management, asset registration, design, commercial, and finance. You will play a key role in improving processes related to project initiation, handover, and closure, supporting project teams to ensure efficient setup and documentation.

This role involves working across multiple regions, collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders, and delivering a high volume of work with limited in-person supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

? Act as a subject matter expert for project initiation, close-out, and handover processes
? Support project planners in managing project timelines and tasks
? Develop reports to track project close-out tasks and identify areas for improvement
? Collaborate with design teams to ensure correct documentation handover
? Assist with project data setup and administration in Oracle Primavera Unifier
? Monitor project health and safety file progress
? Maintain accurate project records using SAP, SharePoint, and other systems

About You:

? Experience in project control systems, document control, or project governance
? Strong organisational and data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
? Ability to coordinate and influence multiple stakeholders
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
? Knowledge of asset management or workflow software (SAP, Primavera, PowerAutomate) is an advantage
? A proactive, independent worker with strong communication skills
