Walker Cole International is searching for a Production Manager to join a pharmaceutical company in Hertfordshire. Your primary responsibility as Production Manager would be to manage the production of pharmaceutical products and operational activities in a GMP environment.
As a Production Manager you will be responsible for:
- Leading production activities for pharmaceutical manufacturing of drug product.
- Identifying, supporting, coaching, motivating, and helping to develop the skills of a team of 30 FTE, ensuring compliance with training for both new and current staff and therefore establishing a strong team and work culture.
- Ensure robust GMP compliance and represent the business in customer and regulatory audits
- Plan, organise, and deliver production schedules. Monitor productivity, and champion continuous improvement
To be a successful applicant for the Production Manager opportunity, you will have:
- Experience leading or managing a team within a Pharmaceutical company
- A degree or HND qualified in life sciences or a related field
- Manufacturing experience working in accordance with GMP
- Strong people management and interpersonal skills
