Quest Employment is partnering with a leading food production manufactory in Stevenage, committed to delivering high-quality products to customers. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Production Team Leader to join their dynamic team.

This role is temp - perm and will be in a chilled environment

Shifts:

  • Sunday to Wednesday
  • Wednesday to Saturday

Shift Hours:

  • Day Shift: 07:00 - 19:00
  • Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

As a Team Leader, you will be crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of food production lines. You will supervise a team of production operatives, maintain safety and quality standards, and ensure production targets are met. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff.
  • Ensure production schedules are met with minimal downtime.
  • Maintain high standards of product quality and safety.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimise production processes.
