Up to £35,000 - £40,000 pa
Here at Every Step Recruitment, Office Support, we are happy to be supporting a well-established organisation in Hertfordshire who are looking to recruit a Property Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Manage and direct our rent review, lease renewal, rates & service charge strategy (including budgeting)
- Act as point of contact for property management issues
- Evaluate concerns over landlord issues, and where necessary, act
- Work with Legal Counsel to ensure appropriate governance on all estates activity
- Oversee external legal counsel
- Chasing contractor invoices
- Updating landlords on a daily basis on the progress of maintenance works
- Deposit negotiations with tenants and landlords
- Communicating to landlord and tenants when dealing with maintenance and checkout conclusions
You will have the following skills & attributes:
- Previous Property Management experience
- Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
- Dealing with the Compliance and Health & Safety regulations for the property
- RICS qualified with good knowledge and experience of LL+T Law
- Proven track record in managing a multi-unit estate on a national basis
- Commercial acumen and string negotiation skills
- Ability to multi-task and achieve deadlines
