Property Manager

Stevenage

Up to £35,000 - £40,000 pa

Here at Every Step Recruitment, Office Support, we are happy to be supporting a well-established organisation in Hertfordshire who are looking to recruit a Property Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Manage and direct our rent review, lease renewal, rates & service charge strategy (including budgeting)
  • Act as point of contact for property management issues
  • Evaluate concerns over landlord issues, and where necessary, act
  • Work with Legal Counsel to ensure appropriate governance on all estates activity
  • Oversee external legal counsel
  • Chasing contractor invoices
  • Updating landlords on a daily basis on the progress of maintenance works
  • Deposit negotiations with tenants and landlords
  • Communicating to landlord and tenants when dealing with maintenance and checkout conclusions

You will have the following skills & attributes:

  • Previous Property Management experience
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Dealing with the Compliance and Health & Safety regulations for the property
  • RICS qualified with good knowledge and experience of LL+T Law
  • Proven track record in managing a multi-unit estate on a national basis
  • Commercial acumen and string negotiation skills
  • Ability to multi-task and achieve deadlines
