We are looking for a compassionate and committed SEMH Specialist to join our inclusive, forward-thinking team. This is a fantastic stepping stone for anyone looking to pursue postgraduate training in Educational Psychology or a related mental health profession.

�? About the Role:

You'll work with students ages 4 - 21years, many of whom face barriers to learning due to emotional regulation challenges, anxiety, trauma, attachment issues, or adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). Some may also be at risk of exclusion or disengagement.

As an SEMH Specialist, you'll:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group emotional support and intervention
  • Assist in developing and implementing individualised behaviour and support plans
  • Use evidence-based strategies to promote emotional regulation, resilience, and positive coping
  • Collaborate closely with SENCOs, pastoral staff, and external services (e.g., CAMHS, social care)
  • Contribute to whole-school approaches to mental health and inclusion

  • A degree in Psychology, Criminology or a related subject
