RedBox Events is an established IT Company specialising in customised ticketing and telecommunications solutions for events across the UK. The business is rapidly expanding and looking for new talent to join the dynamic and diverse team.
Located in Stevenage, a short distance from Stevenage Railway station, the company offices also has ample free parking spaces.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Client Services, the initial role will be of Administration Assistant with duties including:-
- Answering incoming customer service calls
- Responding to incoming customer service emails
- Packing and Despatch of Tickets
- Light PA duties to the Directors
Working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm though there is some flexibility. Some weekend morning work will also be required to provide phone support for some events, though this can be done from home. This can be compensated by time off in lieu or overtime, whichever is preferred.
Please be aware that the busiest time for Red Box is over the summer (May to September). It will be very difficult to take holiday during this period. It is important that in applying for this role you fully accept this limitation as a fundamental part of the job.
It is expected that the role (and salary) will expand to include managing events with duties including:-
- Adding and amending prices
- Adding and amending wording on web sites
- Managing ticket inventory
- Creating new events
- and in time becoming an Account Manager
Full training will be provided.
About the Person
The successful candidate will be personable on the phone with good written English skills. They will be adaptable, detail conscious and resourceful with a can do attitude to all tasks.
