About the Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced and passionate Hotel Head Chef to lead a new team of 10 chefs in a prestigious 100-bedroom establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, ensuring that high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene are consistently met.

As Head Chef, you will bring structure and organization to the kitchen, implementing HACCP procedures and fostering a positive, firm-but-fair working environment. Your passion for creating and presenting classic dishes will be key to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring smooth operations at all times.
  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of all food, maintaining high standards of taste and presentation.
  • Implement and monitor HACCP and other food safety protocols.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, maintenance, and cleanliness.
  • Collaborate with the management team to create seasonal menus and special event offerings.
  • Train and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar leadership role in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team, maintaining high standards of performance.
  • A passion for classic cuisine and an eye for detail in presentation.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
