OThis permanent position offers the flexibility to be based UK-wide, including offices in Grangemouth, Warrington, or Reading. The role involves providing comprehensive commercial support to the MMO (Maintenance, Modification, and Operations) business unit, managing existing contracts, supporting new business activities, and striving for continuous performance improvement through best practices.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing monthly commercial and contract reports, including calculating receivables
  • Managing the commercial team, including performance reviews, development, and task management
  • Overseeing budgets and forecasts, analysing risks and opportunities within the region
  • Handling contractual issues such as rate increases, variations, notices, and disputes promptly and effectively
  • Managing receivables, valuation processes, and invoicing to minimise working capital
  • Supporting business development, including rate calculation, margin models review, and commercial term assessments
  • Providing commercial support to operational management
  • Budgeting and controlling regional support costs
  • Compiling monthly reports demonstrating accurate cost and revenue recognition
  • Preparing business unit board packs and analysing KPIs
  • Adhering to internal processes and controls
  • Developing margin improvement plans and initiatives with the local operational team
  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and tender preparation processes


Job Requirements:

  • Extensive commercial experience in the industrial services sector
  • Proven experience in managing commercial teams
  • Experience with overhauls, projects, and term maintenance work involving MEISIP services
  • NEC3/4 contract management experience (essential)
  • Knowledge of SAP (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ambitious and a strong ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • QS/Accountancy background, preferably to HND/Degree standard or equivalent
