Accountant

Michael Page are working with an organisation in the Not for Profit and Charities sector, based near Stockport, who are looking to appoint an Accountant on a 1 year Fixed Term Contract, with a view to going permanent. The role will involve preparing budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and producing financial reports for senior leaders.

The key responsibilities of the Accountant include:

• Ensuring the accurate and transparent management of financial resources.
• Preparing budgets and ensuring initiatives operate within budgetary guidelines
• Building effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Preparing financial reports for management

Profile

The successful Accountant should have:

• Experience working in an Accountant role
• Experience producing budgets
• Strong Microsoft office and accounting systems skills
• Experience working in the charity sector would be a bonus
