Financial Controller
Based: Stockport area
Salary: up to £60k + bonus + benefits including healthcare, pension, 25 days holidays, hybrid working and opportunities for progression
Talentedge are exclusively partnering with a rapidly expanding, PE backed business hiring a number 2 in their finance team. An exciting time for the company projecting 50%+ revenue growth over the next few years through organic growth & acquisition, this is a truly unique role for a candidate looking for wide-ranging exposure (UK, European & Globally) at a senior level across commercial/financial and the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of a progressive Finance Director
Role:
- Month end close, maintaining strong internal controls & high quality reporting for European business
- Ownership of month end accounting including consolidation of financial statements for European entities
- Managing year end close and annual audit
- Cashflow reporting, forecasting and overseeing all company tax duties (VAT, Corporation tax)
- Assisting with financial integration of new acquisitions with multiple on the horizon for 2025
- Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders, presenting numbers and analysing data to assist in revenue growth
- Working closely with AP & AR team, overseeing transactions
Experience:
- ACCA / ACA qualified & trained in practice
- Industry experience beneficial as well but NOT essential
- Wide ranging audit / accounts experience and keen to develop & learn
- Strong financial reporting knowledge including FRS 102
- Advanced Excel including VLOOKUPs & Pivots
- Proactive approach to system & process improvements
