Description
- Oversee and manage financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations.
- Analyse financial data and create financial reports for decision-making purposes.
- Implement best practices in accounting and reporting.
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures.
- Support the accounting team in daily tasks and duties.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
- Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities
Profile
A successful Senior Accountant should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA)
- Proficiency in accounting software and excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Sound understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Offer
- A competitive salary range of £25,000 - £40,000 DOE
- Hybrid working model with 2 days a week working from home.
- 20 days holiday plus 3 for Christmas close down, plus bank holidays.
