A well-established accountancy practice based in the Woodford area of Stockport, Cheshire are recruiting for an experienced and qualified Accountant to join their Senior management team on a full time, permanent basis. They are seeking an Senior Accounts Manager / Senior Client Manager, to lead a small accounting team and complex client portfolio. They are a fast-growing accountancy firm who have recently acquired another office in the area, you will be joining at an excellent, yet stable period of growth within the business. They are really keen to find a driven individual who is ambitious and keen to play a key part in the growth of the firm; Partnership opportunities available!

Portfolio /Client Manager Job Overview

The successful Senior Accountant will be working closely with the firm's Partners and will look after a portfolio of SME's, OMB's and HNWI. The practice would love a great communicator who is happy to work closely with clients in the office and on site to grow their SME's.Preparing reports, budgets & financial statementsControlling and forecasting the companies' income and expenditureAssist in the full production of a month end P&L and balance sheetsManage a portfolio of clientsReconciliation of accounts when requiredVAT returnsProvide pro-active business advice wherever possibleAdvising business owners on growth opportunitiesManaging a team of Junior Accountants / Semi Seniors

Portfolio / Client Manager Job Requirements

A minimum of 4 years' experience within an Accountancy practice is requiredTeam management experienceAn excellent knowledge of digita and cloud based software would be advantageousACCA / ACA qualified (or final exams remaining)Ambitious and keen to ensure the growth of the team, clients and practice overall, there are potential partnership opportunities available for the right individualThe firm are a two site practice with another office in Altrincham

Portfolio / Client Manager Salary & Benefits

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (flexible dependant on skill and experience) + Bonus'Hours: 09:00 - 17:00 (Monday - Friday and flexible)Hybrid workingPersonal and company performance related bonusModern working environmentOn going training, development and career development
