Your new companyWe are working with a reputable Northwest-based firm which has enjoyed organic growth due to the success of its long-established and successful tax team. With offices across Manchester and Cheshire, this regional growth is now in a position to grow the mixed tax team and take on a Tax Senior.Your new roleThis Mixed Tax Senior opportunity will involve assisting the tax partner and 2 directors with their client portfolios and will evolve into taking on your own portfolio of personal and corporate clients. You will be responsible for:Managing queries from HMRC, preparing, reviewing and submitting corporate and personal tax returns whilst gaining experience helping to supervise and mentor the more junior members of the team. There will also be the opportunity to gain experience in advisory work, including research for tax planning, e.g. R&D tax, transactions, capital allowance reviews and HMRC enquiries.What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate for this Mixed Tax Senior opportunity will be CTA or ATT qualified or working towards their qualifications. You will ideally have worked within a personal or corporate tax role for the last 2-3 years and have the drive and ambition to succeed in a very hands-on, busy and dynamic accountancy firm.
