We seek a detail-oriented Graduate to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will manage financial records, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making.

Duties

  • Process and reconcile financial transactions for various client accounts
  • Enter and code financial data into accounting software systems
  • Prepare and review bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Maintain up-to-date and organized digital and physical client files
  • Cross-check invoices, receipts, and other financial documents for completeness and accuracy
  • Input financial information from source documents into accounting platforms
  • Categorize and log expenses and income for different clients
  • Update and maintain spreadsheets with financial transaction details
  • Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Ensure all financial records comply with current accounting standards and regulations
  • Respond to client queries about basic accounting and financial information
  • Communicate with clients to request additional documentation or clarify financial details
  • Support senior accountants in preparing client correspondence
  • Schedule and help coordinate client meetings and financial reviews

What were looking for:

  • minimum of a 2:1 in a numerate degree and graduated no later than 2024
  • Strong A Levels
  • Be a UK resident or have settled status to work in the UK (We do not provide sponsorship or visa)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and reporting purposes.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative in completing tasks independently.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various stakeholders effectively.
