Description

This is an excellent role for a focused Customer Service Manager to lead a small team and bring in new structures, processes and procedures to prepare for the next phase of growth.

  • Overseeing a complex sales order processing process within a manufacturing setting
  • Leading and motivating a high-performing customer service team
  • Developing and implementing customer service policies and procedures
  • Identifying opportunities for process and organisational improvements
  • Tracking and reporting on customer service metrics
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Providing training and coaching to customer service staff
  • Managing customer complaints and enquiries effectively
  • Keeping up with industry trends to ensure excellent customer service

Profile

A successful Customer Service Manager should have:

  • Excellent experience to contribute to a growing manufacturing business
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience in a customer service role within the industrial/manufacturing sector
  • Knowledge of customer service software, databases, and CRM tools
  • A customer-focused approach and the ability to handle difficult situations with diplomacy

For this role we are actively looking for an individual who is comfortable committing 6 months to the preparation of this fantastic team, the aim will be to ensure the team can run self sufficiently and an internal candidate can be promoted into a Team Management role.
