NJR Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a regional insurance brokerage in their recruitment of a Commercial Account Executive to be based from their Stockport office.
There is an existing book of general cross-class commercial business ready to be inherited and they are now looking to bring an experienced Account Executive in to deal with this!
As Commercial Account Executive, it will be your responsibility to effectively manage the relationships and broking journey for each of these clients, ensuring their insurance needs are understood and they receive appropriate cover at the best price.
As with any Account Executive position, there will also be expectations for you to grow the book through new business and appropriate cross-selling opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Account Executive with proven client-facing experience. However, we are also happy to hear from ambitious, outgoing Account Handlers who feel ready to step into an Account Executive position.
Experience and Skills we are looking for include:
- Proven experience in an Account Executive position within commercial insurance would be ideal, though we are also happy to consider Account Handlers looking to progress in your career.
- Strong demonstrable knowledge across a range of cross-class commercial insurance products is required.
- Client-facing experience would be ideal, along with an outgoing personality and the ability to develop excellent working relationships with a broad range of individuals.
- Strong negotiation skills and knowledge of the UK commercial insurance market.
- Enthusiastic, hardworking and driven attitude, able to work well as part of a team and have a keen eye for detail.
