Project Manager

Elevation recruitment group are seeking a skilled Project Manager / Senior Project Co-Ordinator with significant experience in the manufacturing sector to oversee customer-focused projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and compliance with specifications. The role requires strong relationship management with both internal teams and external clients, delivering on key project criteria within the wider division. 

Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary liaison between the customer and the business, ensuring that customer expectations and requirements are communicated efficiently to all relevant departments
• Facilitate smooth project launches by collaborating closely with Sales, Quality, and Manufacturing departments, ensuring all delivery timelines and quality considerations are factored in
• Create and maintain comprehensive project plans and timelines that fulfil customer requirements, while providing professional, clear updates on progress
• Proactively identify risks or delays in project timelines and coordinate recovery or mitigation strategies to keep the project on track
• Promote a collaborative, high-morale team environment by encouraging effective communication and teamwork across all project-related areas
• Work closely with suppliers and the procurement team to ensure that external delivery schedules are met and any potential issues are addressed early
• Accurately report any additional costs related to the project to internal management and, where necessary, to the customer

Project Manager Required Competencies:

• Strong communication and presentation abilities, able to engage confidently with clients at all levels
• Professionalism and the ability to handle client-facing responsibilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills, fostering collaboration both internally and externally
• Strong organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines
• High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy across all aspects of the project
• Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure

Qualifications and Experience:

• A degree in a business-related discipline is preferred
• Proven experience in managing and delivering projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry would be advantageous but is not essential
