Location: 3 days office and 2 days home based (near Manchester)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Benefits: 25 days holiday, pension, private medical
The role
- Maximising collections and minimising overdue debt from customers
- Maintaining cash flow and financial stability by a proactive approach
- Focusing on KPI's to ensure you are managing and reducing active debt
- Building strong relationships with customers via the telephone, email and teams calls
- Investigating and resolving any unapplied cash to ensure accurate and up to date financial records
- Month end closing activities
- Accurate reporting via systems and excel
- Maintain and update accurate AR ledger to ensure all entries are current and accurate
- Resolve and customer queries quickly and efficiently
What experience will you need?
- Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
- Familiarity with a credit control software and ERP systems
- Confident with MS office packages - especially excel
- Fluent in German and English
- Able to problem solve
- Excellent time management experience and the ability to proactively manage relationships with clients
- Collaboration experience, able to work closely with colleagues
