Data and Statistics Administrator

6 Month contract Monday to Friday

£15.38 per hour, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays (pro rata) plus superb benefits

Our client is a leader in credible logistics, committed to delivering excellence in supply chain and logistics solutions. We're on the hunt for a motivated and dynamic Data and Statistics Administrator to join our growing team and play a pivotal role in customs and import/export operations.

About the Role: This role is perfect for a graduate or equivalent with a degree in Logistics, Statistics, Data or an equivalent field, or experienced support administrator looking to kickstart their career in a vibrant and supportive environment.

As a Data and Statistics Administrator, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure seamless Data and Statistics information is reports.

Strong IT skills are a key requirement for this role as well as a desire to learn and be part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate Reports daily
  • Look at Statistics and Data daily
  • Coordinate customs documentation and processes for import/export shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records of shipping and customs activities.
  • Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to track shipments and resolve issues.
  • Upload invoices and maintain invoice administration
  • Support the supply chain team in streamlining operations and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • upload data and produce reports - use IT systems to produce updated data for team
  • Stay updated on customs laws, tariffs, and regulations relevant to the role.

About You:

  • Experience in SQL and Power BI (or knowledge of)
  • Company will consider a graduate or equivalent with a degree or experience in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, or related field or experienced support administrator seeking a new challenge within a proactive professional team
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and other logistics-related software.
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
