A unique opportunity has arisen for a Head of People and Culture to join one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK. This is a newly created role, where, as a passionate and driven HR professional you will create and deliver a people strategy that shapes the culture of the organisation and drives high performance.

In this role there will be a strong focus on management coaching, employee engagement, talent development, organisational culture, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. You will work closely with senior leadership to align people strategies with business goals and ensure that the company values are maintained.

Below is an overview of the role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement people strategies that drive organisational performance and support business goals
  • Raising the profile of HR within the business
  • Build, lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high levels of performance and collaboration
  • Coaching and upskilling Management in relation to day-to-day people management
  • Oversee the talent acquisition process with the aim of building a diverse and inclusive workforce
  • Manage employee development programs, including training, career development, and succession planning
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives and create an environment where employees feel valued, supported, and empowered
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation
  • Foster a culture of feedback, continuous improvement, and innovation to support organisational growth and agility.
  • Partner with leadership to drive change management and organizational development efforts

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within a high growth and founder-led business
  • Strong knowledge of employment law
  • Experience in building and scaling teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships
