Your new firmA Top 10 North West based Accountancy firm is seeking an experienced Accounts & Business Advisory Manager to join their office in Stockport. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a well-established firm and help to shape, develop and lead the team. This firm provides a range of accounting, tax, audit, advisory and business services to a variety of clients ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to medium sized companies up to large enterprises. Their goal is to provide a personalised service to maximise client benefits.

Your new roleAs Accounts & Business Advisory Manager, you will manage a client portfolio as well as oversee the team's portfolio. You will be responsible for all elements of client service with some support from Senior Management and Partners. You will have the opportunity to get involved with business development and create opportunities for the firm. You will be a direct point of contact for clients, providing advice and managing relationships. Overall, you will be required to deliver an excellent client service.

What you'll need to succeedThe ideal candidate for this role will have experience working and managing an accounts team in a practice environment. You will need experience of managing a client portfolio and working with clients within a variety of industries. You will ideally be ACA/ACCA qualified or close to qualification or qualified by experience (QBE). The ideal candidate for this role will have a positive attitude, enthusiasm and great initiative. You will need experience training and coaching junior members of staff.

What you'll get in returnIn return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £39,000 and £45,000 dependent on experience. You will have the option to have hybrid and flexible working options.
