Job Title: Finance Business Partner
Location: Stockport, UKSalary: £50,000 - £60,000

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner position:
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Lead the annual budgeting process and provide support to departments in preparing and submitting budget proposals.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing recommendations for mitigation and improvement.
- Continuously monitor performance against the budget, providing variance analysis and actionable insights.
- P&L Management & Analysis
- Take ownership of the Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis, evaluating financial performance against targets and delivering regular updates to key stakeholders.
- Provide in-depth analysis on revenue, margins, and expenses, identifying areas for cost-saving and margin improvement.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand and manage their financial performance, ensuring alignment with the overall business objectives.
- Business Partnering
- Act as a strategic advisor and trusted financial partner to department leaders, helping them understand financial implications and drive business performance.
- Deliver insightful financial analysis and reports to senior management, contributing to data-driven decision-making processes.
- Support cross-functional teams by providing financial insights on projects, business cases, and investment decisions.
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards.
- Deliver clear and concise financial information and performance metrics to senior management, identifying trends and opportunities for growth.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L analysis.
- Proven track record of partnering with non-financial teams to drive performance and influence decision-making.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial systems and competent Excel skills.
