Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will:
- Lead electrical tasks and assist with mechanical issues to ensure plant machinery is compliant with regulations.
- Carry out reactive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on conveyors, balers, compactors, shredders, and other machinery.
- Participate in annual shutdowns and travel to other local sites as required.
- Mentor apprentices and support their development.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline
- 18th Edition qualification.
- Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance of industrial equipment, including conveyors and motors.
- Ability to read and interpret schematic drawings.
