This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Teaching Assistantsupporting children who have social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, individuals on the autism spectrum and young people with ADHD, dyspraxia and dyslexia. Justteachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant for a unique and innovative partnership school in Stockport. This role is full-time long term starting in the Summer term.

Responsibilities:
Provide support to meet the diverse needs of students with various learning difficulties, including cognition and learning, social emotional and mental health, sensory and physical challenges, ASC, ADHD, and other complex needs.
Collaborate effectively with teachers and fellow staff members to ensure the best possible learning environment.
Build strong relationships with students, understanding their individual needs and motivations.
Support the ethos of the school and contribute to its inclusive and supportive atmosphere.

Requirements:
Experience working with adults or children with complex or SEN needs within the last two years, preferably in a care home, residential care setting, SEMH school, or PRU.
Dedication to the development and learning of students with SEMH, with a desire to make a positive impact.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, essential for working effectively within a professional environment.
Ability to establish rapport with students and demonstrate empathy towards their challenges and behaviours.
