This organisation was recently graded at Outstanding by Ofsted.What we’re looking for:UK recognised teaching degree such as PGCE or Level 5 equivalent and QTS*

Previous experience with students who have sensory impairment, Autism and or communication difficulties.

Previous experience with students who have severe and/or complex learning difficulties.

Day to Day of the role;

  • Plan and deliver individualised curriculums based on each student’s programme of study
  • Work with non-teaching staff, to assess, record and report students’ progression
  • Connect with students’ parents, carers and involved authorities, as appropriate
  • Collaborate with managers, other teaching staff and learning support staff to plan periodic topics, programmes of study, teaching materials and pastoral care
  • Liaise with residential staff on potential learning opportunities with home settings, where appropriate
  • Support staff with personal care and feeding the students when required
