We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) School in Stockport. As a specialist school supporting pupils with ADHD,

In this role, you will provide essential support for children with ADHD, helping them overcome their barriers to learning and reach their full potential. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be someone who can work collaboratively with our staff and adapt to the unique needs of each student. Experience with ADHD and SEMH is beneficial, but we also welcome applicants with varied backgrounds, as we believe different perspectives can enrich the learning environment.

As a Teaching Assistant will be expected to work closely with teachers and other professionals to create a positive, supportive, and structured environment for our students. Your role will include providing one-to-one support, managing behavior, and delivering tailored interventions that meet the individual needs of pupils with ADHD.

Key Responsibilities:

-Provide individualised support to students with ADHD and SEMH.

-Assist in the development and implementation of personalised education plans.
