Upto £28k DOE plus Bonus 

Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester. Various shift patterns available (9-5 / 10-6 / 12-8).

The Role

As a Motor Claims Handler, you'll manage non-fault accident claims, conduct assessments, and coordinate various services. Key Responsibilities of the Motor Claims Handler:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls related to new and existing claims
  • Complete First Notification of Loss (FNOL) and log claims into the management system
  • Assess vehicle damage and determine roadworthiness
  • Arrange services such as vehicle collection, credit hire, and repairs
  • Determine liability and delegate claims to appropriate service providers

Required knowledge and experience for the Motor Claims Handler role:

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge in claims handling or motor insurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • Experience in credit hire (desirable but not essential)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
