Our client is looking for a Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations, ensuring a motivated team and adherence to high standards. Join us in creating an efficient and safe working environment!
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Engagement: Manage daily warehouse and packing activities, ensuring the team is engaged and equipped to meet performance standards.Inventory Management: Calculate flour types and destination bins daily to maintain stock levels and fulfil customer requirements.Operational Coordination: Complete packing lists, coordinate vehicle loading, and maintain accurate batch records.Quality Assurance: Conduct daily CCP checks, laboratory flour samples, and manage customer returns related to quality issues.Documentation & Reporting: Update the laboratory reports manager database, issue daily record sheets, and maintain accurate records of all operations.Safety & Compliance: Develop and implement Safe Systems of Work, Standard Operating Procedures, and train staff on food safety and health procedures.Continuous Improvement: Utilise real-time data collection to enhance packing efficiency and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practises (GMP).
What You Bring:
Qualifications: Fork Lift Truck Licence (Counterbalance), IOSH Managing Safely, L2 HACCP, and L3 Food Safety certifications.Experience: Proven experience in warehouse management with a strong understanding of BRC standards and Lean Manufacturing techniques.Skills: Excellent time management, organisational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.Mindset: Self-driven, tenacious, and committed to continuous improvement and excellence.
