A Regional contractor that undertake new build and refurbishment projects predominantly within the Industrial, Commercial, Retail and Residential sectors are looking to appoint a Site Manager to manage the internals stages of a steel frame apartment scheme in Stockport.

Reporting into a Project Manager, you will oversee and manage the whole internal fit-out process through to handover. You will coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services. Additionally, you will monitor and enforce quality control measures to ensure all work meets project specifications and design standards. Ensuring site safety and compliance with health and safety regulations will be a crucial part of your role, as well as tracking and reporting on project progress, milestones, and any issues that may arise during the fit-out phase.

To be successful in this role, you must have proven experience of overseeing internal fit out phases on apartments or other multi occupancy buildings such as student accommodation, hotels or care homes. A strong understanding of construction processes, fit-out techniques, and building codes is essential. You should possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams. Your ability to problem-solve and make quick decisions to keep the project on track will be crucial.
