We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee and coordinate the installation and commissioning of a retail refrigeration project. The role involves managing on-site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and liaising with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders. This is a 4-month contract with potential extension opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily site activities, ensuring project milestones are met within scope, time, and budget constraints.

Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

Ensure all refrigeration installation works are carried out to industry standards and client specifications.

Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and enforce health and safety protocols.

Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any site-related issues.

Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, method statements, and site diaries.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including environmental and safety standards.

Troubleshoot and address any unforeseen technical or operational challenges.

Manage material deliveries and site logistics.

Facilitate site meetings and coordinate with client representatives.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Site Manager in retail refrigeration, HVAC, or M&E projects.

Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, installation procedures, and relevant regulations.

Valid SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.

Experience managing subcontractors and working within live retail environments.

Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
