Our client is a fast-growing manufacturing business committed to delivering high-quality products while fostering a positive and supportive workplace. Due to a period of continued growth we are looking for a dedicatedĀ Team LeaderĀ to join the team and help drive efficiency, motivation, and collaboration on the factory floor.

The successful Team Leader will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, maintaining high standards, and supporting your team to perform at their best. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring targets are met, and fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

ā€¢ Lead, motivate, and support a team of production operatives to achieve performance targets.

ā€¢ Ensure clear and effective communication between management and the team.

ā€¢ Maintain a positive and proactive workplace culture, encouraging teamwork and problem-solving.

ā€¢ Monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency, identifying and addressing any issues.

ā€¢ Provide training and guidance to new and existing team members to support development.

ā€¢ Ensure all health & safety procedures are followed, creating a safe working environment.

ā€¢ Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and on-time delivery.

ā€¢ Report on team performance and any operational challenges to senior management.

ā€¢ Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a ā€œcan-doā€ attitude.

The ideal candidate:

ā€¢ Previous experience in a team leader or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.

ā€¢ Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and engage a diverse team.

ā€¢ Excellent communication skills ā€“ clear, respectful, and proactive.

ā€¢ A positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and ability to remain calm under pressure.

ā€¢ Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and a results-driven approach.

ā€¢ Understanding of health & safety and quality standards in a manufacturing setting.

ā€¢ Flexibility and adaptability to support the needs of a growing business.
