Planner

With a commitment to excellence and a focus on delivering high-quality projects, we are seeking an experienced Planner to join us and play a pivotal role in supporting our Pre-con and delivery teams to execute against our core values and expectations of our clients.
The Planner is responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring project programmes to ensure that our fitout projects are completed on time and within budget. This role involves collaboration with project managers, pre-con team, contractors, and other stakeholders to create detailed programmes, allocate resources efficiently, and identify potential risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tender Programme:Develop detail tender programme inline with the employers requirements.
- Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed co-ordinated construction programmes using software tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Asta) to ensure the timely completion of projects.
- Progress Monitoring: Track project progress, update schedules regularly, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to the project management team.
- Risk Management: Identify potential programme risks (delays, cost overruns, etc.) and develop mitigation strategies in collaboration with the project team.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure all parties are aligned with the project plan and timeline.
- Reporting: Generate and present reports on project performance, including time programme, cost forecasts, and other relevant data.
- Communication: Facilitate communication between project teams and stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is informed of project progress and any changes to the plan.
- Change Management: Analyse changes in scope and their potential impact on the project programme, revising programmes and communicating with relevant stakeholders to minimise disruptions.
- Compliance: Ensure all scheduling activities comply with company policies, contract specifications, and industry standards.
- Contracts:Ensuring that the individual has clear understanding JCT and NEC contracts
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in construction planning and scheduling.
- Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, resource management, and project timelines.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with large-scale or complex fitout projects.
- Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) or scheduling (e.g., PMI-SP).
- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and related tools.
Work Environment:
This role typically involves a mix of office and on-site work. The Planner may need to visit our projects to monitor progress and collaborate with on-site teams.
